Microsoft Exchange Server is a messaging and collaborative software product developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Microsoft Servers line of server products and is widely used by enterprises using Microsoft infrastructure solutions. Exchange's major features consist of electronic mail, calendaring, contacts and tasks; support for mobile and web-based access to information; and support for data storage.

SharePoint Server is a software platform for collaboration and web publishing that combines a number of capabilities under a single server. These capabilities include portal, content management system, business intelligence, search, wikis, blogs, and application development. It enables users to perform a number of common tasks, such as publishing a web site or intranet, searching for content, managing content, or creating applications, but without having to install a separate server for each function.

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system (RDBMS) produced by Microsoft. Its primary query languages are T-SQL, Entity-SQL, and ANSI SQL.

Client Access Licenses (CALs) are covered for the SQL Server Licenses under the U of M's Microsoft Campus Agreement.

System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr), formerly Systems Management Server (SMS), is a systems management software product by Microsoft for managing large groups of Windows-based computer systems. Configuration Manager provides remote control, patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment, and hardware and software inventory.

Microsoft Windows (Upgrade) is an operating system with a graphical user interface.

Windows 8 is expected to be released in October 2012.  We will update this page when we know more.  A lot of questions are coming in about Windows to Go; all we know is what has been posted on various external websites. We will also include more information and useful links to Windows to Go, once we learn more.
