Use Mathematica software for scientific research, engineering analysis and modeling, and technical education, from high school to graduate school, or any time quantitative methods are used.

Effective July 1, 2013: Due to increased license fees from the vendor the charge back prices for Mathematica have increased.  Please find pricing within the following page.

  1. Choose the option to enter a new password. This will open up the Personalize Mathematica screen. You should see that Single Machine is selected, and that Name, and Organization are filled in, if not please enter the correct information.
  2. Enter the license number Ldddd-dddd and click continue (d = digit 0-9, if you do not have your license no. send an e-mail to software@umn.edu, with your license # and they can provide that to you.
  3. Once you click continue, you should see your 14 digit MathID. Next to the MathID is a WEB button. Please click on this button.
