Wolfram has released a new product called Wolfram Lightweight Grid Manager, and our department and student license holders are entitled to it. It makes it easy for users to find and run Mathematica computation kernels on remote hardware, lending more CPU power to parallel Mathematica tasks and allowing ad hoc grids from idle machines to power Mathematica calculations.
For more information or to watch a screencast, see the Wolfram Lightweight Grid Manager page on the Wolfram site.
Departmental Mathematica license holders can request work at home rights.
