Advisory Committee
As a new member of the ResearchChannel, the University of Minnesota has an opportunity to showcase the breadth of research and educational opportunities available at our institution. OIT Video Solutions will be the contact between the University and the ResearchChannel. In order to ensure the University is well represented in this new medium, a University-wide advisory committee will be established to guide OIT Video Solutions in the selection of video programming that best represents the University of Minnesota.

- Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Distributed Education and Instructional Technology
- Graduate School
- Office of Information Technology, Video Solutions
- Office of the Vice President for Research
- University Relations
Objectives
- Establish process for content submission.
- Establish guidelines and criteria for qualified submissions.
- Establish process for content review and selection.
- Evaluate the benefits of ResearchChannel membership and develop future membership level recommendations.
- Develop a strategy for future grant inclusion and production accommodation.
- Develop a plan to ensure broad representation and access to production facilities.
- Develop a plan to deliver the ResearchChannel to the University community.
