Aligning Technology Strategy Formulation to the University's Goals and Objectives

Strategy Management's intent is to optimize technology resource potential by making strategy execution a distinct and recognized competency within the Office of Information Technology and the broader University technology management function.

Why Strategy Management? Because an enterprise-class technology organization: plans its initiatives and work to align with the institution to which it serves, manages those initiatives and associated work to a specific (and fixed) outcome, and measures the progress and effect of those initiatives and other ongoing work.

Key elements include:

  • Evidence-based decision-making,
