Through a partnership with Google, University of Minnesota students, faculty, and staff can access the Google Apps for Education Edition, a suite of communication and collaboration tools designed to enhance our ability to work together.
Faculty, staff, and students have the option to sign up to use U of M Google e-mail (Gmail) and apps as of fall 2009. The long-term goal is to have all students using U of M Gmail, so at some point, all incoming students will be required to use it as their official University e-mail account.
