Recycle Departmental Computers and Peripherals

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has outsourced the recycling and resale of used computer equipment to a third party vendor. After conducting an RFP in conjunction with Purchasing Services, OIT had selected Asset Recovery Corp., who began collecting used computer equipment from University departments (including coordinate campuses and extension offices) on March 27, 2008.

Asset Recovery Corp has been in the electronics recycling business for over 20 years, and they currently hold a contract for recycling electronics with the State of Minnesota. They have had no violations of hazardous waste regulations, and they meet the highest standards of environmental protection.
